About

Joey's plumbing career began in the summers while attending Walker High School in south Louisiana. He worked for his uncle's company starting at the age of 14. Joey attended Northwestern State University on a rodeo scholarship where he studied industrial technology and manufacturing while working towards a business minor.

In 1985, Joey moved to the DFW area and began working for a commercial plumbing company that specialized in plumbing high-rise buildings. After 5 years, Joey worked for a service repair company to better learn the service trade. On January 15th, 1995, Joey opened the doors to Howze Plumbing For the past 24 years, Joey has built a reputable, lasting, and trustworthy business that he is proud to put his last name on.

After retiring from competing in the rodeo arena, Joey found a passion for ice hockey. This enjoyment turned into both a playing and coaching career. Aside from hockey, Joey enjoys taking trips with his wife and hunting at his ranch in Coleman, TX.
